This is not the Scott Barlow who plays for Trafford, but I did meet that Scott Barlow when he came to help plaster my front room!

Scott Barlow - Medical Field Service Engineer

Started his career in the stores department of a small electronic company who made point of sales printers,

here he learnt all about the different components used in Electronics production and how they should be handled.

Not long after this Scott moved to the production department where he learnt how the assembled boards were fitted into the equipment

and how different tools were used to produce the finished product.

During this time he also studied for an ONC in electronics, once he had completed this course he moved to the test and repair department

where he showed a natural flare for fault finding.

whilst in this department he continued with his study and two year later he received a very good HNC.

Progressing with his study he was offered a position in the R&D department

But when the company was taken over he returned to service department but this time as the supervisor.

Here again with his talent for fault finding and the skill learnt through out his training period, he quickly was able to reduce a back log of repairs

and formulate a structured pricing for repairs and stock control system.

After 10 year with this company it became clear that the days of repair of point of sales printer was going to come to an end.
